GAF Certified Green Roofer™ Requirements
A Certified Green Roofer must be either a GAF Master Elite® contractor or a GAF Certified contractor. The company must also complete an online education course and be committed to improving overall sustainability and to recycling shingles. Every year, about 11 million tons of shingle waste is generated in our country. Shingle recycling programs repurpose this shingle waste and convert it into materials for highways.
